Today marks the launch of ASCD's Whole Child Initiative page on Facebook. The page will help ASCD spread the word to parents, students, and the general public about the importance of ensuring each child is healthy, safe, engaged in learning, supported by caring adults, and academically challenged. It includes background information about the initiative, ASCD's whole child video, a wall where people can leave posts and other content, a discussion board, and feeds to both ASCD's Whole Child and Inservice blogs.
